I came up with the concept of Design Eye for the Builder Guy while selling residential real estate in Nashville. I had seen one too many poorly designed, outdated, newly-constructed homes. The builders would explain that they were so busy that they didn't have time to give much thought to making their homes stylish or keeping up with trends. There was also the concern that trying something new, especially if their cost went up, would end in regret. I was eager to use my interior design knowledge of kitchen and bath hard finishes to make these most important rooms appealing to homebuyers.
